Brush Fire In Laguna Beach Prompts Road Closures

LAGUNA BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters are battling a brush fire burning in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park.

Flames broke out shortly before 1 p.m. on the west side of Laguna Canyon Road, according to the Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Tony Bommarito.

About 50 acres have been burned. It was 60 percent contained.

The blaze was not threatening any structures.

State Route 133 was also closed between Laguna Beach to 405 Freeway.
