1 Of 2 Suspects Arrested For Series Of Burglaries In Montecito Heights

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — One of two suspects wanted for a series of burglaries in Montecito Heights was in custody Tuesday.

The man was located in an RV Sunday night at 28th Avenue and Johnston, according to LAPD Det. Young.

The man and another suspect were caught on camera during a Nov. 12, 2014 burglary in the 3900 block of Elderbank Drive.

According to detectives, the incident appeared to be related to other burglaries that took place in the area, including the most recent one that occurred Feb. 25 in the 3900 block of Paige Street.

Missing jewelry and tools were located in the suspect's RV.

The search continues for a second suspect.
