VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — Six people were injured in a five-vehicle crash in Van Nuys Tuesday.

The crash happened just after 6 a.m. at Sepulveda Boulevard and Vanowen Street, Los Angeles police Officer Mike Lopez said.

Paramedics transported six patients to hospitals for injuries described as "moderate to severe," Los Angeles Fire spokesman Erik Scott said.
