1 Fatally Stabbed, 2 Wounded In Carson

CARSON (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Thursday were investigating a fight that left one man dead and two others wounded.

The incident happened just before 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in Carson, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

Three men were walking along 225th Street and Main Street, when a a champagne colored SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Tahoe or Suburban, stopped near them.

"As the vehicle stopped, approximately six males exited the vehicle and began to assault the three victims," officials said.

Two of the men were stabbed and the third victim was hit with a blunt object.

The three men were transported to a local hospital where one was pronounced dead.

The other two victims were treated for their wounds and listed in fair condition, deputies said.

The suspects' vehicle was last seen northbound on Main Street.
