1 Dead In 4-Vehicle Crash on 605 Freeway

INDUSTRY (CBSLA.com) — A man was killed Saturday morning in a four-vehicle crash on the 605 Freeway in Industry.

The crash occurred at 6:18 a.m. in a southbound lane at Valley Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol. Paramedics responded to a call that a man had been hit by a truck but did not transport anyone, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.

Around 7 a.m., authorities issued a SigAlert and closed the No. 4 lane on the freeway for about an hour.

The victim's name has not been disclosed.
