1 dead after vehicle crashes into freight train in Fontana

A vehicle crashed into a freight train Friday night, killing a person inside the car, according to Metrolink.

The deadly collision happened around 10:30 p.m. and resulted in the train tracks being closed between Fontana and Rialto, officials said. 

No other details were released as authorities continue to investigate.
