1 Dead After Fiery, 3-Car Crash In Orange

ORANGE (CBSLA.com) — One person has died after a fiery, three-car collision in the city of Orange.

Two people were transported to the hospital after the accident on Chapman Avenue and Yorba Street Thursday night.

One of the vehicles involved described as a Chevy had stopped on Chapman headed west when it was clipped by two cars that got pushed across the intersection.

The vehicles reportedly ran into a signal box and immediately ignited. The driver in one of the cars passed away.

Of those transported to the hospital, one had serious injuries, while the second sustained minor injuries.

The area was expected to be shut for several hours. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
