1 Dead, 6 Injured In 2-Vehicle Crash In Lancaster

LANCASTER (CBSLA.com) —  Authorities said one person was killed and six injured in a two-vehicle collision in Lancaster Saturday evening.

Sheriff's Deputies said three of the injured were children who were airlifted to Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

One of the injured -- believed to be a child -- was described as being in grave condition.

Officials on the scene said two of the adults involved were in full cardiac arrest when they arrived.

Witnesses also said some of the victims had been ejected from their vehicles.

The crash occurred about 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of 25th Street East and Lancaster Boulevard, according to Robert Diaz, supervising dispatcher with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
