1 Dead, 3 Wounded In Shooting In Parking Lot Of Long Beach Denny's

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say one person has died and three others were wounded following an overnight shooting in the parking lot of a Denny's restaurant in Long Beach.

Long Beach police responded to a 2:55 a.m. call of the shooting in the area of 6th Street and Long Beach Boulevard.

 

"Arriving officers found four adult victims. One of them was determined deceased," Long Beach police spokesperson Marlene Arrona told KNX1070.

The three survivors were taken to local hospitals, where they were listed in stable condition, as of 6 a.m. Sunday.

Detectives say the shooting may be gang-related.

Police say Long Beach Boulevard between 6th and 7th streets and 6th Street from Locust Avenue to Long Beach Boulevard remain closed while they investigate.
