1 Dead, 2 Wounded In Arleta-Area Shootings
ARLETA (CBSLA.com) — One person was killed and two others were wounded Wednesday after shootings in Arleta that police said they believe were carried out by the same person, the LAPD said.
The first shooting occurred at Plummer Street at Van Nuys Boulevard, where one victim was shot. That person died. It was unclear whether the victim died at a hospital or at the scene of the shooting.
The second shootings occurred at Nordoff Street at Orion Avenue, where two victims were shot. Both are being treated for their injuries, police said.
Authorities said it was unknown whether the shootings are gang-related.
