SUV Hits And Kills Mother, Daughter, Dog In West Hills

WEST HILLS (CBSLA.com) — An SUV struck a mother and daughter walking their dog in West Hills, killing all three Monday night.

Police said the victims and their Labrador retriever were trying to cross Roscoe Boulevard when a red Saturn SUV hit them about 8:40 p.m.

The daughter, in her 30s, died on the scene. Her mother, in her 60s, died on her way to a hospital, police said. Their pet also died instantly.

The driver did stop. Police said they did not believe he was intoxicated as they try to figure what led to the accident.
