1 Dead In Deputy-Involved Shooting In Norwalk, Second Suspect Arrested

NORWALK (CBSLA.com) — One suspect was killed in a deputy-involved shooting in Norwalk  on Tuesday night, and a second suspect was arrested, authorities said.

No deputies were injured in the shooting, which occurred around 6:30 p.m. near Imperial Highway and Pioneer Boulevard, the Sheriff's Information Bureau said.

The suspect was a man, as was the arrested suspect, according to the Sheriff's Department. Their identities were not immediately available.

Information about what prompted the shooting was not immediately available.
