1 Burn Victim In Suspected BHO Lab Fire

MALIBU (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters have knocked down a blaze in the Malibu hills that resulted from a possible butane hash oil lab.

L.A. County Fire was called to Rattlesnake Drive just off Encinal Canyon following a report of a blaze at a single family structure just after 6 p.m. Tuesday.

CBS2's Kevin Takumi reports the blaze was initially thought to be a brush fire because the smoke could be seen by the L.A. Fire camp crew.

Fire officials are now reporting a suspected BHO operation was located in the building.

One burn victim has been reported.

No further information was available at press time.
