Armed suspect starts fire in Silverwood
Authorities say an armed male suspect started a fire in Silverwood Friday that spread to structures and brush.
According to Cal Fire officials in San Bernardino, two structures have been destroyed by the fire, with several others still threatened. An estimated 30 acres of brush is also burning.
The suspect has been taken into custody. It is unclear what he was armed with.

2 homes, 1 outbuilding destroyed
Cal Fire officials tweeted that aerial mapping shows 28 acres have burned in the Highway Fire in Silverwood, with two homes destroyed and one out building.
Crews are expected to work through the night on the fire.

Fire grows to 40-50 acres, 3 structures destroyed
Cal Fire officials in San Bernardino tweeted that the blaze in Silverwood has grown to approximately 40-50 acres, and that three structures have been destroyed.
