SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — If you're in the market for a rooster or hen, now is the time to adopt one. Bradshaw Animal Shelter posted to Facebook Thursday that they have experienced an influx of chickens that are stacking up in their barn.

The adoption fees are only $5. The shelter is open until 6:30 p.m. and the adoption process closes at 6 p.m.
