Following Coronavirus Precautions, Sacramento Zoo To Close Until End Of March

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Amid a mass wave of closures due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Sacramento Zoo announced Friday it will close its gates until at least the end of March.

Staff members will continue to care for the animals and the zoo's veterinarians and security teams will report to work as normal.

The zoo said it will continue to follow the department of public health and update the community as soon as possible about developments and a possible re-opening date.
