Rafters Rescued From American River After Raft Deflates

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Rafters had to be rescued on the American River near River Bend Park Thursday.

Rescuers were called to the river after a raft carrying several passengers deflated. The passengers caught a branch to keep from being swept downstream, according to the Sacramento Metro Fire Department.

All of the rafters were accounted for. No injuries were reported.
