Pennsylvania Woman Dies Of Natural Causes After Truck Crashes Into Home

Levittown, PENNSYLVANIA (AP) - Authorities say a 93-year-old hospice patient who died after a pickup truck crashed through a Philadelphia-area home near the bed where she was lying succumbed from natural causes.

Authorities in Bucks County say the coroner ruled Saturday that Jenny Russo died a natural death brought on by end-stage lung disease.

The truck crashed through the Bristol Township home Friday afternoon, causing heavy damage to the structure. It was unclear whether Russo's death a few hours later was related to the crash.

Interim police chief Ralph Johnson says the coroner found no evidence of trauma caused by the accident.

Johnson says all evidence in the case will be forwarded to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office, which will decide whether to charge the driver, who has not been identified.
