JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — Alaskans are always excited by salmon runs, unless it's across a highway.
A truck carrying salmon to a cannery in Alaska's capital city rolled Monday, spilling fish across most of the highway's lanes and backing up traffic for an hour and a half.
Juneau Police Chief Bryce Johnson responded with other officers and confirmed the fish left a stinky smell.
The driver had minor injuries, but he wasn't taken to the hospital.
