Police Investigating Double Homicide In North Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police are investigating a homicide that left two people dead in the North Sacramento area Thursday morning.

The scene is near Del Paso and Los Robles boulevards.

Sacramento police say officers responded to the area a little before 5:20 a.m. after neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots.

Officers soon found two people dead in the area. No information about the two people killed has been released.

Detectives have canvassed the area for evidence and any witnesses.

A motive for the shooting hasn't been identified, but detectives believe it to be an isolated incident.

Officers have closed the 3400 block of Del Paso Boulevard to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic as investigators work to process evidence.
