Capital Region Gets Fit

The Capital Region is getting fit! Local mayors are teaming up in a campaign to promote health and recreation amenities throughout the greater Sacramento region.

GET-FIT TIPS:
1. Get Moving! Children: 60 minutes of physical activity every day. Adults: 30 minutes of physical activity every day.
2. Choose water over sugary drinks.
3. Make half of your plate fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables may be fresh, cooked, canned, frozen or dried.
4. Encourage your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and community to make healthy choices with you.
