Detroit Police seeking tips after Wyoming Avenue business clerk robbed

(CBS DETROIT) - The Detroit Police Department is seeking tips from the public regarding an armed robbery on Wyoming Avenue. 

The robbery happened about 12:40 p.m. Thursday in the 19300 block. A man walked into a local business, and spoke with the female employee. He then pulled out a knife, demanding items from her; eventually taking a ring, money and her purse after a struggle. 

The robber then fled on foot. 

The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries. 

The suspect was about 5'6" tall, wearing a brown leather jacket trimmed with white fur, dark pants and black boots.
