Workers Sickened By Carbon Monoxide At Rochester Hills Restaurant

ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ/AP) - Several employees at an Oakland County restaurant were taken to a hospital because of carbon monoxide poisoning.

It happened Thursday night at Noodles & Co. at the Village of Rochester Hills Shopping Center, at Adams Road and Walton Boulevard.

The fire department says the restaurant had lost power earlier in the day and, after power was restored, ventilation equipment didn't come back on properly.

The victims, all restaurant employees, were treated and are expected to be okay.

No customers at the restaurant were sickened.

Lt. Paul Wright of the Rochester Hills Fire Department said the situation "could have been very serious."
