Women Carjacked, Abducted In Motor City Casino Garage
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are checking surveillance footage after two elderly women were carjacked in the parking garage at Motor City Casino.
Officers say it happened at 5:30 a.m. Thursday as the women were leaving. A suspect approached the women, pulled out a gun and forced them inside their PT Cruiser.
The terrified victims told police they were forced to drive around in the car with the suspect before they were dropped off. A Good Samaritan gave them a ride to the Second Predict where they reported the crime.
Police said the women were frightened but not physically hurt. Some cash and personal items were taken.
The suspect made off in the Red PT Cruiser, with the license plate AEW 319.
