Woman With Dementia Goes Missing In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are hoping the public can help locate a missing 65-year-old woman with dementia.

Family members say Bertha Rebecca Moore-Ladd was last seen by her son on Sunday at approximately 1:00 p.m. in the 1300 block of Orleans, near St. Aubin and Lafayette streets.

Moore-Ladd is in good physical condition, police said, but she suffers from dementia. She is described as 5'5" tall and 130 lbs. with a light complexion and shoulder-length brown hair. She was last seen wearing a dark brown fur hat, silver bubble coat, light brown sweater, brown khaki pants, black Sketchers shoes and a red and black purse.

Anyone with information on Moore-Ladd's whereabouts is asked to contact police at 313-596-5740.
