Woman Hospitalized After Kidnapping, Rape; Police Arrest Suspect

DETROIT (WWJ) - A Detroit woman is hospitalized in critical condition after being raped and stabbed on the city's west side.

Police say the victim was held against her will in a home on Schoolcraft Avenue near Schaefer Highway for two days. She was able to escape Saturday and was flag down a passing car for help.

Authorities tell WWJ that they've arrested a suspect in connection with the case Sunday night.
