Woman Dies Day After Rescue From Condo Fire

HOWELL (AP) — Authorities say a 68-year-old woman has died following a fire in a southeastern Michigan condominium.

WHMI-FM and the Livingston Daily Press & Argus report that Mary Ann Hibner of Howell was found alive Thursday evening in her burning garage. She was taken to the hospital, where she died Friday morning.

Livingston County officials say neighbors discovered the fire, which is believed to have started in the living room. The cause remains under investigation.
