Woman Critically Injured In Detroit Bus Stop Shooting

DETROIT (WWJ) - A 35-year-old woman is clinging to life after she was shot while waiting for a bus on Detroit's west side.

The incident happened just after 8 p.m. Thursday at West Outer Drive and Fenkell Avenue.

According to police, the woman was standing at the bus stop when she received a gunshot wound to her body. Other circumstances weren't immediately clear.

The woman was taken to a local hospital and was last reported in critical condition.

Police have not yet released a description of the gunman
