Woman Attacked By Man With Knife In Grosse Pointe Park

GROSSE POINTE PARK (WWJ) -- Police are searching for a man who attacked a woman last weekend in Grosse Pointe Park near the Detroit border.

Police say the woman allowed the suspect to use her cell phone on the street near Cadieux and Charlevoix early Sunday morning. The woman noticed he was following her and then attacked her with a knife, cutting her face, chest and arms.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, about 6-foot-1, with a very thin build. He was wearing a white sweatshirt with the hood pulled up and blue shorts.
