Woman, 29, dead in rollover crash in Ann Arbor

A 29-year-old woman is dead after the vehicle she was driving hit a tree and rolled in Ann Arbor Saturday morning.

The Ann Arbor Police Department says officers responded to the crash in the area of Jackson and Gralake avenues around 4:12 a.m. 

Investigators say the woman from Van Buren Township was driving near a curve on Jackson Avenue when her vehicle left the road and struck a tree. The vehicle then rolled. 

The woman died at the scene. 

Police are investigating the crash. It's unknown if the weather played a factor.
