18-Year-Old Woman Shot In Greektown

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Police are investigating a shooting that took place in Greektown in downtown Detroit on Saturday night.

Police confirmed to WWJ Newsradio 950 that an 18-year-old woman was walking through Greektown when she saw people running. She began running then heard gunshots and felt a pain before realizing she was hit.

She is listed in temporary-serious condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident took place near Monroe and Beaubien around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

There were no other reported injuries and no arrests made. Police remain on the scene.
