Wizards Sign Guard Will Bynum To 10-Day Contract

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Washington Wizards have added guard depth, announcing the signing of Will Bynum to a 10-day contract.

The team waived forward Toure' Murry.

Bynum, 32, has played seven seasons with Golden State and Detroit, appearing in 353 career regular season games while averaging 8.2 points and 3.3 assists.

He played in 30 games this season for the Guangdong Southern Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association, where he averaged 22.3 points and 7.1 assists.

Wizards starting guard Bradley Beal left Wednesday's loss to the Indiana Pacers in the first quarter with a sprained right ankle.

Murry missed Wednesday's game with a sprained left ankle after recently signing a second 10-day contract.

He appeared in three games for Washington, averaging 1.5 points.
