Winning $310.5 Million Powerball Ticket Sold In Michigan

THREE RIVERS (WWJ/AP) - Someone in Michigan just got richer -- a lot richer.

Lottery officials say the winning ticket to a $310.5 million Powerball jackpot was sold a Shell gas station in Three Rivers, located about 25 miles south of Kalamazoo and just minutes from the Indiana border.

The winning numbers are 21-39-40-55-59 and Powerball 17.

Michigan Lottery officials are urging the winner to step forward. The jackpot can be paid over 30 years or the winner can choose a lump sum of about $197 million before taxes.

Wednesday's jackpot is the second-largest this year. In February, players in North Carolina, Puerto Rico and Texas split a $564.1 million prize.
