Who Knew Prince Could Ball? [PHOTO]

It is time for the Prince edition of Throwback Thursday. Thanks to a Tweet from the editor of the "St. Paul Star-Tribune", the world got to see that the purple one has always been a baller. He may only be 5-foot-2, but Prince was quite the jock in his high school days. He actually made varsity basketball as a freshman (he didn't start, though).

The photo from the yearbook also shows that His Royal Badness has come full circle when it comes to his hair. He rocked an impressive 'fro in the '70s and is back to rocking a 'fro now.

I guess the Charlie Murphy story that was re-enacted on the "Chappelle Show" was true. The skit showed Prince and his crew smoking Eddie Murphy and his posse on the court. And as we now know, Prince CAN ball.
