Whitmer Calls For More School Funding In Budget

MICHIGAN (CBS DETROIT) - A new budget was released by Governor Gretchen Whitmer Thursday calling for more school funding.

The 2021 budget asks for more than $100 million for K-12 including funding for special education services and economically disadvantaged students.

The total 2021 budget is up nearly four percent compared to this year's budget.
