When will Metro Detroit see rain for Easter weekend?

(CBS DETROIT) - We'll have a beautiful Friday, a rainy Saturday and a cloudy Sunday in Metro Detroit.

Enjoy the sunshine and blue skies. On this Good Friday, temperatures will warm into the middle 50s with a lighter breeze.

Rain returns Saturday, primarily in the morning hours. Steady rainfall is expected through at least the late morning and the system will finally move out by early afternoon. During the afternoon expect a high of 53 degrees and cloudy skies.

Easter Sunday has a mostly cloudy sky in the forecast with near-normal temperatures. Highs will top out in the upper 40s and lower 50s. A few sprinkles for the day will be possible. However, in the morning, the grass will be dewy, so keep that in mind for any Easter egg hunts.
