Westland Woman Faces Abuse Charges After Leaving Her 2 Children Alone For Hours

WESTLAND (WWJ/AP) - After leaving her children alone for hours, a Westland woman faces child abuse charges.

Twenty-two-year old Brittany Little left her four-year-old boy and infant inside her apartment for seven hours while she went to school.

Police found the boy wandering outside while only wearing underwear. Both children were taken to Garden City Hospital and turned over to Child Protective Services, which gave them to their grandmother.

Little was arrested pending charges, she maintains her innocence.
