Westland Pharmacy Burglar Might Be Responsible For Other Similar Crimes [VIDEO]

WESTLAND (WWJ) - Police in Westland are hoping the public can help identify a man who broke into a pharmacy and made off with prescription pills.

The break-in happened around 5:20 a.m. on Monday, June 22 at Scriptway Pharmacy at the corner of Wayne Road and Glen Street, just north of Palmer Road.

The suspect was caught on video as he used a large pry bar to force the front door open. Once inside, the suspect went through multiple drawers and took several prescription drugs. He then fled the scene.

Police say the suspect may be responsible for similar crimes in the past.

The suspect is described as possibly a black or dark-skinned white male, average height with a heavy build.
