Wayne County Bringing Pilot Wellness Program To Hamtramck And Ecorse

HAMTRAMCK (AP) — A pilot program is being started to deliver clinical, wellness and health care programs to Wayne County residents.

The Wellness@thecommunity satellite locations will set up on alternating Wednesdays in Ecorse and Hamtramck.

The program is offered from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Hamtramck Health Center. The services are through the Wayne County Department of Health, Veterans and Community Wellness office and include immunizations, health care enrollment, Head Start enrollment, and services for veterans.

The satellite location also will be open April 13, May 11 and June 15 in Hamtramck. It will be open March 23, April 20, May 18 and June 22 in Ecorse.
