VIDEO REVIEW: Different Is Good In The European-styled Jeep Renegade

WWJ AutoBeat Reporter Jeff Gilbert checks out Jeep's new small SUV.

The name conjures up something edgy and macho. Promotional video shows it rolling over off-road conditions, but the base models are really meant for the urban environment.

The Renegade is made in Italy, but meant to sell globally so it has to hit the sweet spot of American Jeep styling while staying small enough to fit on European roads.

In this case different is good. The Jeep Renegade gets a full five stars.
