Victim Of Robbery, Beating Regains Consciousness But Can't Remember Incident

WARREN (WWJ) - Police in Warren are looking for suspects in an apparent robbery and assault on Sunday, but say they now know the identity of the victim.

Fifty-eight-year-old Chung Tran was discovered badly beaten in a parking lot on Sunday morning at Toepfer and Ryan.

His wallet was missing.

Tran suffered a brain bleed, but is now doing better and has been able to speak to investigators.

However, he doesn't remember what happened to him. Police have confirmed his identity through fingerprints from a 2002 minor arrest.
