Vehicles From Michigan National Forests Up For Bids In Online Auction

CADILLAC, Mich. (AP) - Federal officials say two national forests in Michigan are selling vehicles and equipment through an online auction this week.

The bidding got underway Monday and continues through Friday. The Hiawatha National Forest and the Huron-Manistee National Forests are taking part.

Among items for sale are pickup trucks, fire trucks, tractors, SUVs and snowmobiles.

People can place bids at the Government Services Administration website, www.gsaauctions.gov. The online auction sale number is 51QSCI15303.

Vehicles up for sale can be inspected Wednesday and Thursday at ranger stations and supervisors' offices in Cadillac, Mio, Baldwin and Gladstone.
