Vandals Deface Farmington Hills Skate Park

FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) - Authorities are trying to identify the suspects who defaced a popular skate park in Farmington Hills.

Vandals spray-painted phrases like "F*** The Police" and "I Love Big Boobs" at Riley Skate Park, on 8 Mile Road between Gill and Halstead roads. Anti-Semitic symbols were also spray-painted on the park's entrance.

PLUS Skateboarding shop on Grand River is offering a reward to identify the suspects. A posting on their Facebook page says city officials have threatened to close the park if the vandals are not caught.

Anyone with information is urged to contact PLUS Skateboarding at 248-426-0899 or submit a tip to police at 248-871-2600.
