Valentine's Day Tour At Parade Company Left One Couple Floating On Air

DETROIT (WWJ) - Have you ever thought of going on a tour of the Parade Company for Valentine's Day?

Fred Prahnko is now married thanks, in part, to just that venture.

He took his sweetheart there and popped the question at the end of the tour at the Cinderella carriage:

He said it was life changing.

"To see my wife's face, I don't think I could have made that a better experience than what it was," said Pranko. "Got on my knees and my (now) wife immediately started crying and proposed right then and there."

The Prahnko's have now been married for two years.

Tony Michaels, president and CEO of the Parade Company, says it great fun for a creative and romantic time with your valentine.

"You are up close and personal to the floats, you are together, it's the two of you, walking around and just having a blast - checking out the Parade Company ... a real romantic time," said Michaels. "There's a bottle of champagne, a box of chocolates, flowers ... clown noses, a souvenir photo -- it's a fun, fun thing to do for Valentines."

Tickets are one hundred dollars per couple. Tours run through Valentine's Day - Saturday.

Phone (313) 432-7833 for tickets and information on how to get there [here].
