Who doesn't enjoy fishing? Seriously, it might be the most peaceful activity on the face of the earth.

Whether it's sunny or overcast, you can enjoy casting a line and waiting for a bite.

Valentine Thomas, 28, from Canada is a little different than most.

Dubbed the 'spearfishing huntress' by the Toronto Sun, she has taken the Internet by the storm by her sexy Instagram photos.

Thomas is catching heat on her Instagram account because of the dead fish she is showcasing.

She isn't your average fisherman, as she uses a spear gun to catch her fish, which requires a special level of skill.

"With a spear gun, it's really accurate — you're going to kill exactly what you're aiming for. With a net, normally you're going to catch way more things," Thomas said. By shooting the fish with a spear, they are killed instantly whereas fish die of asphyxiation in nets over a long period of time on boats, she added.

According to dailymail.co.uk Thomas gets love and hate at the same time.

'People call me a killer,' Miss Thomas told MailOnline. 'I face sexism, I face a lot of hate, but I have also had marriage proposals.'

With over 18,000 followers, Thomas has definitely turned some heads.
