Unusually Relaxed Verlander Talks Kate Upton, Cars And Steven Avery [VIDEO]

Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander seems to be living the dream.

Not only is he healthy for the first time in three seasons, but he also fully believes his game is back and he's confident to prove it in the 2016 season.

Verlander took some time as the team got ready to embark on the annual Winter Caravan to discuss his golf game, his possible next car purchase and he even talked about his longtime girlfriend Kate Upton.

Can he and the delicious Upton be out and about without people bugging them? Sounds like it. And Verlander seems to indicate he doesn't care if fans approach them -- as long as it's not when he's taking a bite of his dinner.

What else is hot in his life? Cars. Every fan knows about Verlander and his orange Lamborghini, the Ferraris and Porsches. But he's lusting after something closer to home: a Ford GT, some Motor City steel.

Along with cars and Upton, Twitter fans know the ace was obsessed with the Netflix series "Making A Murderer." And everyone who watches that ends it with a strong opinion. So, does Verlander think Steven Avery is guilty? You'll have to watch to find out.

We will say Verlander thinks 2016 will be the year of the Tiger and with some of the moves that General Manager Al Avila has made, it's hard to dispute that.
