Unresponsive Child Pulled From Pool At Beverly Hills Club

BEVERLY HILLS (WWJ) - Authorities say a 6-year-old girl remains hospitalized after she was found unresponsive in a pool at an athletic club in Oakland County.

Police say they were called to the Beverly Hills Club, on Southfield Road just north of 13 Mile Road, around 6:30 p.m. Friday on the report of an unresponsive child.

According to police, a 6-year-old child had been pulled out of the pool by people at the club and life saving measures were implemented. Officers and paramedics from Alliance Mobil Health arrived on the scene and continued treatment.

The child was transported to Royal Oak Beaumont, where police say she continues to receive treatment at this time. Her current condition is unknown.

Steven Satovsky, President of Beverly Hills Club, confirmed the incident happened, saying "At this time the thoughts and prayers of the entire Beverly Hills Club family are with this young girl and family."
