University Of Michigan To Honor The Rev. Jesse Jackson

ANN ARBOR (AP) — The University of Michigan is scheduled to honor the Rev. Jesse Jackson for his five decades of fighting for civil rights.

Jackson will deliver the keynote address Wednesday afternoon at Rackham Auditorium during a series of events on the school's Ann Arbor campus.

The school says the founder of Operation PUSH will share his reflections on the just-completed U.S. presidential race and the future of the struggle for economic, political and social justice.

A question-and-answer session will follow.

The free event is open to the public, but requires a ticket. Tickets are available at the Michigan Union ticket office.
