University Of Michigan Students, Officials Confirmed Safe In France

ANN ARBOR (WWJ) -- The University of Michigan has confirmed that all of its students and faculty located in France are safe and accounted for in the wake of terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday.

There were 10 U-M students, three faculty members and one staff member in France at the time. All have checked in and are safe.

Students and faculty from Michigan State University, Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College have also confirmed their safety.

Cheryl Roland, Executive Director of University Relations at Western Michigan, said that both students studying abroad have been safely accounted for.
