United Airlines: 36,000 Employees Could Face Layoffs

(CBS DETROIT) - United Airlines sent a warning to its employees, more than a third could be furloughed later this year.

36,000 workers including 15,000 flight attendants are at risk of losing their job, if airline travel doesn't pick up.

United took federal bailout money earlier this year that prevents cutbacks before October first.
